New Puma PT3 tournament

I bumped into Khari who organizes the very popular PT3 events last week. He said the latest NY event is going to be something very special. He didn't let on any more than that, damn him! But as soon as I know more I'll post it.

What I wouldn't do for one of those paddles sets. Nice.

*that* dance

It seems like everybody has sent me this link (along with the Bruce Lee film) so although I know it's kinda old now, for those of you who haven't seen it: the hilarious victory dance that is proving a real hit on You Tube.

Lots of people have asked me if I dance like this when I win a point. I have never been 10-0 down in a game so haven't been in that situation ;-)

Brooklyn Paper March Madness

Another ping pong tournament this week, to follow up from Score at the Art Directors Club. This time the Brooklyn Paper is hosting - to go along with the March Madness College basketball. Sadly, I will not be able to attend as I will be in Mexico.

Dumbo? Mexico? Dumbo? Mexico? I think I'm ok to miss this one.

Bill Gates and Jerry Seinfeld play Ping Pong for Microsoft

These ads from Crispin Porter and Bogusky are a little old now. I only saw the shorter versions but in this long version you can see a clip of Seinfeld playing PP. It doesn't actually show Bill playing - but we know he is a player. I'm gonna try to get him for the magazine too. I think Bill Gates is cooler than Jerry Seinfeld.

Ping Pong is the New Religion

It's been interesting to see PP being used in a spate of 'cool' advertising campaigns recently. This one is for uber cool magazine 'The Atlantic'. Apologies for the state of the image I only saw it in The One Show magazine. Couldn't find it online.
